How many songs do you need for music bingo?

That depends on the card. A 4x4 card plays with 48 songs, a 5x5 card with 75 and a 3x3 card with 27. The playlist comes ready made with your order.

How long does a game of music bingo take?

About 45 minutes with a 4x4 card and a little over an hour with a 5x5 card. With a welcome and the prize giving, plan for 1 to 1.5 hours. See how fast someone calls bingo.

How much does music bingo cost?

A music bingo costs from $16.76. You choose how many cards you need.

Do I need Spotify Premium?

No. A free Spotify account works too. Premium only removes the ads between the songs.

How many people can play music bingo?

As many as you like. You choose how many unique cards you need at checkout. Find the bingo card that suits your group.

Can I host music bingo in a bar or at an event?

Yes. All you need is a speaker and the cards. Playing music in public, for example in a bar or restaurant, needs a public performance licence. Read how to host music bingo on location.

Can I play music bingo online?

Yes. Choose digital cards and share your sound in a video call. Here is how it works in Microsoft Teams and in Zoom.

How often can I play the music bingo?

You can play printed cards as often as you like, at your next party too. Digital cards work for a month through the same link.

Can you decide when the bingo falls?

No, and that is exactly what makes it fair. Every card is unique and gets random songs, and you play the playlist on shuffle. That way every player has exactly the same chance and nobody knows in advance who will win, not even us. What you do know is roughly when the bingos fall. You can see that above. And as the host you set the pace: how long you let a clip play and when you move on to the next song.

Can bingo fall after just a few songs?

That is very rare. With 4×4, 50 players, the chance of a full row within 4 songs is less than 1%. The first row usually falls after 13 songs. Want the first round to last longer? Let the clips play longer, or pick a bigger card.

Does the winner of round 1 have a head start in the next rounds?

A little, because that card already has one full row. Even so, someone else usually wins. With 4×4, 50 players, the card that wins round 1 also wins round 2 on 16 in 100 evenings. On the other 84, someone else wins. A random other card wins round 2 on 2 in 100 evenings. For the full card it is 6 in 100, against 3 in 100 for a random other card. Want more people to win a prize? Then agree that anyone who already has a prize cannot win again.

What if two people have bingo at the same time?

Whoever calls bingo first wins. That is the person who recognised the song fastest and ticked it off first. Mention this when you explain the rules, so it is clear to everyone. It happens more often than you think. With 4×4, 50 players, the chance that two or more players get bingo on the same song is 13% for the first row and 22% for the full card. Towards the end many cards are one song short of full, which is why it happens most often with the full card.

We want several winners per round. Is that possible?

Yes. Keep playing a round until there are enough winners, or also give a prize to the second and third bingo. With 4×4, 50 players, for one row the 3rd bingo usually falls after 18 songs and the 5th after 20. For two rows that is after 29 and 31 songs, for the full card after 42 and 43. Other ideas: a prize for the first bingo at every table, or an extra round in between, for example for the four corners or a vertical row.

How long does a music bingo take?

You decide that yourself with the length of the clips. We recommend at least 30 seconds per song, so everyone can recognise it. With 4×4 and a clip of 30 seconds, the whole game with all 48 songs takes ± 45 min. The full card usually comes after 39 songs, but play the whole playlist.

Which bingo card suits our group?

4×4 (48 songs) is the standard and suits almost any group, even hundreds of players. 5×5 (75 songs) is for a longer evening. The rounds take longer, even with a large group. 3×3 (27 songs) is for a short evening. A row has only 3 squares, so the bingos fall faster.

We have more cards than players. Does that matter?

No. Only the cards that are actually in play count. Choose the number of players above, not the number of cards you had made. Cards that stay in the box do not change the odds.

Do the bingos fall spread out across the room or across locations?

Yes, as spread out as the cards are. Every card has the same chance, so a table or location with more players has proportionally more chance of a winner. Nobody can decide in advance where the bingo falls.

Does the playlist have to be on shuffle?

Yes. Play the Spotify playlist in regular shuffle mode, so the songs come in a random order. All the figures on this page are based on that. Do not use Smart Shuffle. It adds songs that are not in the playlist and not on the cards.

How do I check a bingo?

Keep the checklist at hand and tick off every song as soon as it has been played. When someone calls bingo, compare the songs in the row on the card with your checklist. If they have all been played, the bingo is valid.

Which file of our logo do you need?

Preferably an SVG, PDF or EPS. A sharp PNG with a transparent background works too. Send what you have and we will see what gives the best result.

Can you use our own colours and typeface?

Yes. Send us your brand colours, preferably as HEX codes, and tell us which typeface you use. If that typeface is not free to use, we pick one that comes as close as possible.

How fast do we get the design, and can we still change something?

Your draft design is in your inbox within 1 working day. Is something not right yet? Then we adjust it. Only when you are happy do you receive the final bingo cards.

Can we use the design of our own designer?

Yes. Send us the design of your own designer and we turn it into the bingo cards. Good to know: the cards are A4 in portrait format.

How many players can join?

There is no limit. You choose how many unique bingo cards you need at checkout, from a handful for a house party to several hundred for a corporate event. Every card is different, but two players can still call bingo on the same song: the first to call wins, and here is how often that happens. Find out which bingo card size fits your group.

How long does a music bingo game last?

A 48-song game takes about 45 minutes. A 75-song game takes a little over an hour. Most hosts play three rounds within that time: first one horizontal line, then two lines, then a full card. Work out how long your evening will take.

What exactly do I get when I buy a music bingo game?

You get three things, delivered by email within five minutes: a ready-made Spotify playlist with every song in the game, your bingo cards as printable PDFs or digital cards with a unique link and access code per player, and a short how-to guide for hosting.

Music bingo, also called singo, is bingo with songs instead of numbers. Each player gets a card filled with song titles. The host plays short clips from a playlist and players mark off the songs they recognise. The first to complete a line, two lines or the whole card wins.

Do I need a Spotify Premium account?

No. Any free Spotify account works. Premium removes the ads between songs, which most hosts prefer for a smoother game, but it is not required to play.

Can I print the bingo cards myself?

Yes. Choose PDF cards at checkout and you get a print-ready file. Print at home, at the office or at a copy shop. Standard letter and A4 both work, and the cards are designed to stay readable in black and white.

What are the best office party games for large groups?

Music bingo, team trivia, picture quizzes and office bingo work well for large groups because people can play in teams rather than one at a time. Choose an activity with clear rules, a visible score and short rounds. That keeps the room involved without making every person perform.

What are good office party games for remote teams?

Good remote options include music bingo, picture quizzes, team trivia, Pictionary and “would you rather?” questions. Use a video call, screen sharing and a shared answer form where needed. Keep rounds short, explain the rules in the chat and make sure remote colleagues can participate on equal terms.

How do you make office party games less awkward?

Choose games that let people participate in teams or from their seat. Avoid personal questions, forced performances and activities that single out one colleague for too long. Start with a simple round, explain that participation is relaxed and give people useful roles such as scorekeeper or host.

What are quick office party games for a work event?

For a quick activity, try name that tune, two truths and a lie, a picture quiz, “would you rather?” or a short round of office bingo. These games need little equipment and can be finished in ten to fifteen minutes. They are useful before dinner, during a break or between presentations.

Can music bingo work for a company party?

Yes, music bingo works well for a company party because players can take part in teams and recognise songs together. You can use a ready-made playlist for a quick setup or create a custom version around your team, company history or event theme. It works in person and online.

7 Fun Hostel Games & Activities to Boost Guest Experience

Looking for fun and easy ways to boost the vibe in your hostel? When it comes to hostel life, the social atmosphere is just as important as the bed. Travelers from all over the world come together under one roof: and what better way to break the ice than with exciting and inclusive hostel games and activities?

Whether you're a hostel manager or a traveler looking to get the party started, here are seven tried-and-true ideas that will make any evening unforgettable. From fast-paced games to music-fueled fun, there’s something here for every kind of guest.

1. Music bingo: the ultimate hostel icebreaker

If you’re looking for a low-effort, high-energy game, Music Bingo is a top pick. It combines the excitement of music with the familiar format of bingo: but instead of numbers, players mark off songs on their cards as they're played.

Why it works so well in hostels:

It’s language-friendly and inclusive: no need to speak perfect English.
Great for small or large groups.
Can be easily themed (e.g. 2000s hits, Eurovision, travel anthems).
Easy to run with just a speaker and pre-made bingo cards.

Guests will be dancing, singing along, and bonding over their favorite songs in no time.

2. Trivia night: friendly competition with a global twist

Who doesn’t love a good trivia night? It’s the perfect mix of fun, friendly competition, and teamwork. Customize your trivia questions to cover topics like travel, music, pop culture, or even fun facts about the country you’re in.

Pro tips for hosting:

Create mixed-nationality teams to encourage socializing.
Keep the vibe light with bonus rounds like “Name That Tune” or charades.
Offer a free drink or hostel swag as a prize.

It’s a fantastic way to get everyone involved, even those who might be a bit shy at first.

3. Drinking games: classic, easy, and always a hit

It wouldn’t be a list of hostel games without the classics:

Kings Cup
Flip Cup
Beer Pong
Never Have I Ever

These games are ideal for the hostel bar or common area, and they get people talking (and laughing) quickly. Just make sure to keep it respectful and safe for all guests!

4. Board game & card night

For something a little more relaxed, set up a game corner with board games like:

Uno
Cards Against Humanity
Jenga
Werewolf/Mafia

Board games are a great way to spend a chill evening, especially for introverts or travelers on a detox day.

5. Themed party nights

Take your hostel game up a notch with a themed event:

90s Night
Tropical Luau
Silent Disco
White T-Shirt Signing Party

Pair this with music bingo or a Dance-Off Contest to keep the energy high. Themed parties also make for great photo ops and social media moments, which can help market your hostel.

6. Communal cooking or potluck night

Nothing brings people together like food. Organize a potluck, taco night, or pasta party. It’s affordable, easy to organize, and perfect for creating that "family dinner" vibe hostels are known for.

Tip: Combine it with music bingo in the background for a two-in-one event!.

7. Movie night (with a twist)

Host a cozy movie night with comfy bean bags, popcorn, and mood lighting. Want to add some fun? Try:

Movie trivia beforehand.
Costume contest based on the film.
Singalong movie nights (e.g. Mamma Mia or Grease).

It’s the perfect wind-down after a day of sightseeing or partying.
