Questions about theme bingo
What is a theme bingo?
A bingo without numbers. Every square holds a prompt, such as ‘someone who has run a marathon’ or ‘someone who has never flown’. Players walk around, start a conversation and find someone for every square. The first to complete a line or a full card calls bingo.
When do you play a theme bingo?
Whenever people need to get talking: a team outing or staff party, a wedding, a bachelorette party or the start of a kick-off. It breaks the ice and everyone gets to know each other.
How many people can play?
As many as you like. You choose how many unique cards you need when you order, one per player. Every card has its own mix of prompts.
Can I use my own prompts?
Yes. When you order, you can change the prompts of the theme, remove a few or write your own. Own prompts cost a supplement, which you see at checkout. Every card then gets its own mix of your prompts.
Can I print the cards or play on a phone?
Both. Print at home and you get a PDF with a unique card for every player. Play digitally and you get a link and an access code: every player claims their own card on their phone, tablet or computer.
How long does a game take?
You decide. Agree on an end time before you start, for example 20 minutes. Play several rounds if you like: one line, two lines and a full card.
How do I check a bingo?
Have the player read out the prompt and the name of each square, and ask the person named whether it is true. The checklist, which you download on your order page, lists every prompt. Is a square wrong? Then everyone plays on.
Ready to break the ice?
Pick a theme, change the prompts if you like, and get your unique cards within 5 minutes.
